On Foot from Malmesbury
On foot from Malmesbury Town Hall.
Cross the market square.
Walk down Silver Street, turn left onto St John’s Street, cross the river and then continue onto Baskerville.
Continue to the end of Baskerville where you cross under the bypass. and come out into farmland with the river on your right.
Continue along the tarmac road until you get to where the lane bends round to the left sharply. Here you can go over a rough tree trunk/ metal gate style onto the disused railway embankment. You will follow this for 100 yards, go over another style and then you can come off the embankment and walk along the river.
Within 100 yards you will be opposite the River Barn gardens. Follow the river around, cross the weir and turn right up to the second barn on your left. We are immediately after The Dairy.
